Second African Women in Tech Conference Holds In Ghana
If you missed the first African Women in Tech (AWIT) Conference which held in Nairobi, Kenya between July 20-22 – you now have another opportunity to attend a second AWIT conference scheduled to hold at the Impact Hub, F 393/4, Otswe Street, Osu Ako Adjei, Accra, Ghana between December 15-17, 2016.
The AWIT conference is put together to provide a platform where women from all walks of life could meet together and learn technological skills that would move their career forward. The three-day event would involve sharing tech skills and information, participating in tech workshops, and having a hands-on forum on various careers within the tech space.
New entrants into the tech world will also be mentored on making a success of STEM-based programs among other careers in the tech world. Meanwhile, attendees will be exposed to practical training sessions that could be applied to real-life business situations within the emerging tech world. The event is open all women, from college girls to senior company executives.
The top-notch speakers already engaged for the upcoming AWIT conference include, Kandia Johnson, founder and CEO of Kandid Agency; Anie Akpe, founder and CEO of IBOM LLC and Innov8tiv; Divine Muragijimana, Head of Marketing and Branding at Cellulant; and Sam Wakoba, founder and CEO of TechMoran; among keynote speakers.
